Sorrow's Furnace

I started the Sorrow's Furnace quests on 2/16/6, and did Galen Trask, and the "Slaves" quests, on that day.
Did the Orozar Highstone and Kilroy Stonekin quests on 2/19, and finished the High Priest on 3/2/6, and started the "Final Assault" that same day.
Having a big problem with that quest with only henchmen!

Titan Quests

I found out that the Titan Quests come after Hell's Precipice, and are NOT easy after the first one. I did the first one, Defense of Droknar's Forge, pretty easily. After that they got harder.
The one where you work with Devonna is hard, because I kept getting killed over and over till I eliminated most of the enemy, then I talked to Devonna.
I'm still working on the one with King Jalis.

Hell's Precipice

This was a hard quest for me! It was getting me frustrated, so I did the bonus first. You have to divide and conquer the enemy, because if they swarm on you, it's all over.
The way I killed the final boss was to wait til he got in the center of the platform, and I attacked him with my bow from the top step of the platform opposite him.
After you kill him about three times, he finally dies for good!
Then it was back to Droknar's forge for my reward!

Abaddon's Mouth

This was very frustrating to do with henchmen, because it was hard to get them to attack the targets I wanted. They would go off to fight other nearby targets, other than the one I wanted them to attack. I took a break and decided to do the bonus first. I killed all the enemies between the fort and the girl's spirit's final resting place, than I led her there without any trouble.
There is also a location in the mission where you can get your armor infused.
In the main mission, I used Marksman's Wager to keep my energy up so that I could kill the two bosses when they appeared in two separate areas of the mission. Tough mission, but I finished it on 2/7/06.

Ring of Fire

After Thunder Head Keep, I was transported to the Ember Light Camp. I didn't really have a lot of trouble doing the quest to get to the Ring of Fire. I attacked from the left, uphill, side of the island, when I got to the location where the Inner Council members were.
From there to the Ring of Fire by boat.
The Ring of Fire was a little tricky because you couldn't stay in the lava long. You had to run through, and not stop, unless there was a place you could stop.
The best way to fight by the force fields was to withdraw, and try to draw some of them to you. It's not a good idea to try to fight them all at once.

Thunderhead Keep

On Sun. morning, 1/29/6, I finally beat Thunderhead Keep, after a lot of tries!!!
The difficult part was trying to defend the King in the fort, using only henchmen, because I couldn't split them up, and they followed ME everywhere I went!
So I had to use the strategy of making a stand on the platform right in front of the King, and waiting for each attacking wave to come to me and the henchmen! We had to make our kills fast, so we could regroup, and heal, and prepare for the next wave! I used the elite skill, "Marksman's Wager", to make a lot of fast shots, and keep my energy level up.
I managed to complete the bonus, also! This was a long mission, with a lot of kills to make!!!

Guild Wars Factions Event

Guild Wars provided a chance for players to try out a trial version of ther new "Factions" update, during Jan. 20 to Jan. 22, 2006.
I decided to use my last character slot to create a new PVP only character, who I named "David Danger". He is a Ranger/Ritualist, and I added two Ritualist skills to his skill list. After the trial period was over, I lost the Ritualist skills, because they were locked out. However, my on-screen name still showed me as a Ranger /Ritualist, and people wondered how I could still be a Ritualist!!!
I enjoyed using the training isles to learn some new tricks, and I also made it to the Battle Isles!
There will also be another free trial of the new "Factions" upgrade in the near future!
